The Caribbean island of Barbados has the oldest captive-bred stock of
Red-Footed Tortoises (Geochelone carbonaria) in the world, not endemic to
Barbados - they were introduced as upper-class pets by the English colonists
in 1850; and they continue to be kept as such today. There are no wild
populations of Red-Foots in Barbados, and the rarely encountered free
roaming specimens always prove to be 'escapees'.
Barbados Red-Foots are also the largest (because unlike in other countries -
Barbadians don't eat them) and the most colourful variety in the Caribbean;
with a high frequency of 'cherry-heads' and a less frequent occurance of
70-90% yellow carapace's (as can be seen in the juvenile at left in the trio photo).
Our 75 specimen breeding colony is the largest in the Caribbean
and is comprised of 50 10-14" females and 25 10-18" males - which
produce an average of 300 flawless hatchlings for us each year.

POLICY, TERMS & CONDITIONS
All prices are FOB in Euros.
Each country has its own minimum order which will be stipulated on each list.
100% pre-payment for 1st order (per country), partial pre-payment
terms on all subsequent orders - minus the value of any possible DOA - which you must send .jpg proof of within 24 hours of your shipments arrival.
Any order containing CITES species must have 10% deposit pre-paid before any CITES Export permit will be applied for, once we fax you our CITES Export Permit you will proceed to wire the remaining 40% of the required 50% pre-payment.
Orders from different countries cannot be combined - shipments desired from each country must be ordered separately.
No live arrival guarantee on Amphibians.
All items subject to availability, unavailable non-CITES items may be substituted by an item of greater or equal value - of our choice.
Consignee is responsible for conforming to local laws and regulations of destination country - and to inform us prior to shipping (at time of order placement) of all paperwork that is required by them.
No refunds on orders that cannot be imported due to the consignees negligence of local laws and regulations of the destination country.
Packing, documents and shipping charges will be added to the total (unless otherwise stipulated) and must be 100% pre-paid.
We are not responsible for any DOA that result from carrier error or delay.

you CAN make one wire transfer pre-payment to us instead of several,
but you must achieve the minimum order for each country - AND each country
will ship to you separately, orders from different countries cannot be
combined into one shipment; only payment for different countries can be combined.
